Craigavon Travellers Support Committee |
CTSC staff have
continued to promote an Advocacy approach
and provide lobbying on behalf of those
families who are living on the side of the
roads without basic amenities. There where
approximately 150 individual Travellers
living in these conditions.
The first permanent Serviced Traveller site
opened 14th December 2006 (6 pitches to one
extended family). Through this provision
CTSC has provided an intensive support to
the families who moved onto the permanent
site.
CTSC continues to provide support to
Travellers living in housed accommodation.
Over the year we would have worked with
approximately 30 families who are living in
houses. |
